Paul Gray and Kevin Scarlett started Outkast Electrical Contractors in 1996. In the beginning, it was just the two cousins working out of a van.

The two owners grew Outkast Electrical from a small residential electrical company to a large commercial and industrial contracting business with the support of family and friends and a reputation for quality work and completing projects on time.

Now after 22 years in business, Outkast Electrical provides full-service commercial electrical construction and renovation services throughout the greater Boston area with a team of 25 employees that is still growing. Certified by the Supplier Diversity Office of Massachusetts, we are a thriving MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) and DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) certified electrical contracting company.

We have a diverse team of electricians and project managers with experience that includes large-scale new construction & renovation projects in healthcare, hospitality, corporate building, multi-family, industrial and more.
